Surfside Beach, S.C. died. Thursday, March 8 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C.
Bom Nov. 10, 1940, in Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Hugh S. and Ruth Frazier Atkins. Mr. Atkins was formerly the Director of Transportation for Penn Delco School District in Aston, Pa.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Williams Atkins; sons and daughters, Scott Kessler of Myrtle Beach, Denise Beale of Surfside Beach, Linnette Speed of Myrtle Beach, Kevin Atkins of Aston, Pa. and Wendy Hill of Mississippi. 5
Also surviving are a brother, Robert Atkins of New London, Pa.; a sister, Mary Sue Cook of Culpeper and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 11 at Goldfinch Funeral Home at Murrells Inlet, S.C.

W. Franklin Cale, D.D., 88, of Culpeper died Wednesday,
moved over 500 miles apart. All who have visited this land say it is spectacularly beautiful. The original inhabitants, from Pacific Islands are knows as Maori and number about 400,000. But they are mingling with the European settlers. The mix of religions is comparable to ours. As a member of the British commonwealth, they have a form of government similar to the British.
The Hoddinotts have been married 38 years, have three daughters and four grandchildren. Rappahannock is privileged to have them visiting here.
