Through guarded negotiations
with the Rappahannock News, whose motto is “a secret is either too good to keep, or it’s not worth keeping at all,” I was able to meet Euclid last week. We toasted Pi Day on March 14, at 1:59 PM (3.14159) at a local establishment.
Euclid was in good shape for a man born in 330 B.C. He was hale and hearty, and as sharp as an isosceles triangle. I, of course; was born in 287 B.CLr ao. he.was in his sixties when he became my mentor.
It was good to see Euclid after all these years,
