I very rarely voice my ideas
in such a public forum, but the recent barrage of letters regarding the recent national election has tempted me to put my two cents in.
I wish to suggest the following two points be considered in this discussion:
1. The election problems in Florida, and probably in all states upon closer inspection, should be considered a wake-up call. Ignoring this disenfranchisement of voters will result in problems down the line. Aren’t we citizens just turning up the radio to deny the strange sounds emitting from under the hood?
2. We must remember that this is a democracy with multiple points of view and just as many political parties. This is not a team sport where fans go to arenas and try to shout down the oppos
