Nationally-known designer, writer and lecturer C. Colston Burrell was the final speaker at the 2001 Middleburg Horticultural Symposium on March 1.
The name of his firm, Native Landscape Design and Restoration, is far tamer than the man. Burrell speaks with the vibrancy and authority which can only come from a true commitment to a subject.
He reminded his audience, “Color is the hook that gets most of us into gardening in the first place."
