A future herb and craft fair is in the works and perhaps an herb garden at the < Community Center, tended by members but enjoyed by all. * ■* \
The group attending the first meeting chose an herb-of-themonth through December. Each month, members will bring a treat or item made from the month’s herb. The March 12 meeting will feature garlic. Some future selections are lemon balm, fennel, aloe vera and rosemary.
Membership dues were set at $20 per person or $30 per couple. Those who would like to learn more may call Burchnell at (540) 364-6270, or the new vice president, Debbie Franklin, at (540) 364-2326.
