The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad’s annual Miss Rappahannock Pageant will be held on April 28 at 6 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Elementary School auditorium.

Registration will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24 with rehearsal beginning at 6:30 p.m. This is a major fund raising activity for the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad.

The pageant is open to all single female residents of Rappahannock, ages 0-19, in the following categories: Baby Miss Rappahannock (0 to 24 months); Tiny Tbt Miss Rappahannock, ages two to four; Wee Miss Rappahannock, ages five to seven; Little Miss Rappahannock, ages 8 to 11; Junior Miss Rappahannock, ages 12 to 15 and Little Mister, ages two to six; Sisters, ages 2-19 and Miss Rappahannock 2001, ages 16-19. There will also be a mother/daughter category.

All judges will be nonresidents of Rappahannock County. Judge’s decisions are final. In each age group, an extra category is available allowing participation through photographs with an additional $10 entry fee. The Miss/Mr. Photogenic category requires only a photograph to be submitted at rehearsal.
