At a recent meeting of kids’ song album project participants and enthusiasts, project developer Paul Reisler provided an update on the progress of the album now entitled “Tidal Wave of Song.”
He reported that eleven of the twenty songs have now •been recorded by the production team of Steve Van Dam and Smiggy Smith, and the balance should be completed ■by the end of March. The results are incredible, Paul said, and he was looking forward to a CD in hand by sometime this May.
The production aspect of ■the project has been possible as a result of the support of Rappahannock artists and producers, and contributions from individuals and organizations including the Headwaters Foundation and John Kiser’s Greve Foundation.
One objective is to produce the album out of contributed funds and labor, , leaving CD duplication as the ’ only charge against sales income and thus providing substantial unit profits to be used for additional communiWorld’s
