Some Rappahannock farmers like Monira Rifaat and Cliff Miller have taken advantage of a federal stream protection program that still has $22 million left in it for Virginians, first come, first serve.
Monira Rifaat, owner of Manor Farm in Sperryville, has 280-acres mostly in pasture for the grazing of beef cattle and she participates in this U.S. Department of Agriculture program.
