"We have ended up with a much more functional operation becaiise of CREP and have gotten secure water in every field and over six miles of new interior fences," he said one recent afternoon.
"And we have done all of this while doing the right thing for the land and water and getting a tremendous amount of finaiv rial help from the program."
This financial help is significant.
It is also of particular interest to Rappahannock County farmers as the program now applies to certain haying and grazing, orchards, vineyards and berry fields. Consider the following:
