The fact that our government’s
primary purpose, after securing liberty, is the protection of property rights is born out in large part by the fact that property rights are addressed four times in the Constitution, while most other “enumerated” rights are mentioned but once.

What irony, that in this Town of Washington, named for the greatest champion of our constitutional rights, who led Americans to fight and die for those rights; that in of all places, here, these rights might be taken from us by our own government.
