A funeral service was held Aug. 8 at Found and Sons Chapel with the Rev. Daniel Hough officiating. Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.

Olive P. Aitken

Olive Pearsall Aitken, 85, died Aug. 7 at Culpeper Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Aitken was born Oct. 2, 1917 in New Jersey to the late Charles H. C. Pearsall and the late Alice Smith Pearsall.
She was a homemaker, avid golfer, a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church and member of Novum Quilter’s Guild.
Mrs. Aitken was preceded in death by her husband, George Robert Aitken and one son, David M. Aitken.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathleen A. Gundersen and one son, Samuel R. Aitken.
Additional survivors include, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Aug. 12 at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Culpeper, with Father Leo Zonneveld officiating. Interment was private.
