The Theatre at Washington has released its new fall schedule spanning the period of Sept.6 through Dec. 20. It includes a variety of live entertainment, plus twice-monthly films.
The season opens with Alan Jabbour’s “Fiddle Tunes of the Old Frontier,” in which Jabbour plays the fiddle music of Appalachia and talks about his quest for the tunes and traditions of the old Appalachian frontier.
Later in September, veteran stage and film actor Ben Jones premieres a new one-man show portraying Hall of Fame baseball pitcher Dizzy Dean, the colorful star of the depression-era St. Louis Cardinals, the unforgettable “Gashouse Gang.”
