Sharp faced Clarke County’s Tim Genda in consolation-semis, defeating him with a takedown and near-fall, 5-0.
The RCHS junior faced George Mason’s Mike Coleman in consolation finals, falling to his opponent 11-7 for fourth place in the region.
The three place-winners will leave on Thursday to compete in Virginia High School League State competition.
“I am very proud of all of these guys,” said Rappahannock coach Eric Spath,”I am looking forward to seeing what they can / do at states.”
Wrestling action begins on Friday morning with all four Regions in the state meeting for the Single A and AA tournament at the Salem Civic Center, Salem, Va.
Panther wrestlers who will stand by as alternates for the state tournament are 160pounder Justin Robinson and 215-pounder E.J. Estes.
Alternates will be allowed to wrestle at the state tournament only if a state-placer is unable to compete in the competition.
