DU1 charges

Virginia State Police responded to an anonymous tip received last week regarding James Patrick Foresman, 52, of Amissville, driving on a revoked license.

On Feb. 24, Trooper Don Corbin found probable cause to stop Foresman while lie was driving a Chevy Blazer.,

Subsequently, Foresman was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, his third offense, which is a felony. He was also charged with driving on a revoked license and driving on a public roadway with an open container.

Qn Sunday, Feb. 27 at 5 a.m. Issac Mclnturff, 26, of Front Royal, was traveling on Rt. 522 at Chester Gap wlien the 1994 Nissan he was driving ran off the right shoulder, striking an enbankment, then traveling another 265 feet, appearing to have overturned.

Virginia State Police Trooper Don Corbin responded to the accident, finding Mclnturff walking onBt. 522, having sustained a head injury.

Mclnturff was transported to Warren Memorial Hospital and is still being treated as a patient. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
