Mia is not just tor physical healing,” said Foster, “it focuses on the entire body, giving emotions a chance to come out. It is really changing lives.”

For Foster, her life has taken on many changes, having lived in Rappahannock County for 12 years, then moving to Ashville, N.C.

She has returned to the area with her husband, Rick, to live , closer to her family in Rappahannock County.

Foster offers classes entitled Dance Your Prayers on Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon. On Mondays and Fridays, she offers private instruction. On Tuesdays, Nia classes will be offered at 5:30 p.m. and yoga classes at 7 p.m.

On Wednesday, yoga is offered at 9 a.m. and Nia at 10:30 a.m. and on Thursday, Nia at 5:30 p.m. and yoga at 7 p.m.

Foster is also planning to open the studio for artists to come in and paint or draw models.
