Amissville Baptist Church, located off Rt. 211 at 776 Viewtown Road, is a Southern Baptist Church organized on Dec. 29, 1888.
The present church was originally an Episcopal chapel. There are approximately 500 people on the church membership rolls.
The pastor of Amissville Baptist church is Dr. Edward Taylor who has filled this role since January 2002.
