Currently, the vineyard consists of 12-acres of over 6,600 vines.

The Kellerts began growing vines in their backyard when living in Northern Virginia.

Shortly after, those two vines grew to over one hundred, taking over their backyard.

When the Kellerts purchased the property at Gray Ghost Vineyards, they personally moved each vine from their backyard, storing them in an old horse stable on the property.

That horse stable is now where the wine is actually produced, having been renovated to a beautiful winemaker’s haven.
