Arrow of Light
The highlight of the evening was by far the ceremony awarding the Arrow of Light to the Weblos 2 who were culminating their journeys as cub scouts. The Arrow of Light is the highest award a Cub Scout can earn and they can even wear it on their Boy Scout uniforms.
While the boys will not officially cross over to Boy Scouts until April, receiving the Arrow of Light marks the fact that they have completed all the steps to become a Boy Scout. With their parents standing by their side the boys received their awards with great pride. “A parent needs to be as committed as the child,” explained Estes.
