Town Planning Commissioner Gaiy Schwartz was curious as to the appearance of the manholes that will be located on individual’s property.
White explained that the manhole will be slightly raised from the ground, having a small red light on top. The function of the light is to alert the landowner if the pump station fails.
Concerns were then raised by Schwartz as to how leaks could be detected in the systems.
