Congratulations to Miss Meghan Steele, here in Boston, who was named to the Dean’s List for the fall quarter at Virginia Tech. Meghan is a junior and is majoring in Animal and Poultry Science in the college of Agriculture.
Condolences go out to Mr. Ronald White of Scrabble Road, and all his family upon the passing of his brother, Larry Nathaniel White, which occurred at Ruxton Health Care Center, Woodbridge on Wednesday and sympathy to Mrs. Dorothy Wayland Williams in the loss of her husband, John, who passed away at Culpeper Health Center on Thursday at the age of 89.
The Wayland Blue Ridge Association, of which Nazareth Baptist Church and Pastor Frye are members, held their annual Black History Month program at the Blue Ridge Center in Rixeyville. it was sponsored by the Women’s Auxiliary.
