Residents of Washington may have been puzzled to see a pherry-picker lofting a giant radio antennae parked across the street from the Inn at Little Washington Monday morning. The truck, which with the antennae served as temporary radio tower, was part of a film being made in town by “Double R Productions,” a television production company from D.C. The film and truck were commissioned by the National Association of Broadcasters to assist in efforts to lobby Congress for laws restricting small radio stations. Washington was chosen as the sight of the film because of its size. ‘We needed a small town. This is a small town,” explained Double R Production Manager Josh Shama.
