Workshop at

the library

Fiber Aits Presentation and Harvest Figure Workshop will . be held at the Rappahannock County library in conjunction with the “Straw into Gold” exhibit by artist Janet Kerig from 2-4 p.m. Participants will make a com dolly of wheat and com husks to celebrate the start of harvest. Admission is free and open to all ages. Register by calling (540) 987-8670.

Drum Circle

All are invited to join in creating rhythm and music on Sunday, September 25 from 4-6 p.m. At Hearthstone School in Sperryville. All ages are welcome. No experience necessary. There are plenty of drums and instruments to share or bring your own. Suggested donation is $5-10. Children are free. For more information, phone Wendi at (540) 987-8417.

Music Lessons

We are adding guitar lessons to our list of music lessons offered through the RCPS Band Program. During the summer, some lessons run every other week, last 45 minutes each and cost $18 each. Weekly 1/2 hour lessons cost $12,
