Contract/PM Coordinator
Department of General Services for Loudoun County Government is seeking qualified applicants to fill this vacancy within the Building Systems Group. The successful candidate will prepare specifications for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life/safety systems; assist with bid preparation, contractor selection and renewal of service contracts; prepare and manage cyclical maintenance contracts; monitor performance to ensure work is completed to specifications and in a timely manner; authorize payment for periodic contract work; coordinate with shop supervisors to determine frequency and amount of preventive maintenance needed on buildings; and ensure all documentation is current and accurate. Working supervision may be exercised over subordinates Requires any combi-' nation of education and experience equivalent to high school graduation with building trades course work and at least 4 years experience in building trades Valid appropriate driver's license. Must be able to work in extreme temperatures and lift 70 lbs. Some work may be hazardous due to location or type of work. Subject to recall or being held beyond scheduled workday; must be available to respond to County emergencies. DMV record check is required.
