The ambulance that comes to help you or your loved one is staffed by highly trained unpaid volunteers—your friends and neighbors—who are ready to go day and night at a moment’s notice.
It takes at least two people to send out an ambulance in response to a call: an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and a certified ambulance driver. The need for EMTs is critical in the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad (SVRS). The
