We are receiving some wonderful offers of aid for Hurricane Katrina victims from Rappahannock County residents. Perhaps these will inspire you to think about what you might do.
We are building an inventory of resources to have available in the event evacuees are sent to Rappahannock. This is not far-fetched—already about 1,000 storm victims have come to Virginia, and the state is preparing temporary shelter to accommodate as many as 4,000, according to the governor.
