Loring Anderson, Jr. stopped by the office on Tuesday, September 6 with a smile on his face driving his brother’s 1926 Cadillac and a royal blue beauty it is. Anderson gave us a ride around the block. On our way, we picked up Paige Coombs and Rev. Bailey. Everyone enjoyed the ride.

Mums the word
Leon and Betty Hutcheson of Sunset Hills Farm in Washington are selling magnificent mums and they are beginning to show some color. They should be at their peak for fullness and color around the first of October. The prices are just right so go and check them out as there are many colors to choose from.
Sherry and Angelo Cillo will celebrate their third anniversary on Wednesday, September 28.
On September 24, the Fiber Arts Presentation and Harvest Figure Workshop will be held at the Rappahannock County Library in conjunction with the “Straw Into Gold Exhibit” by Janet Kerig from 24 p.m. Participants will make a com dolly of wheat and com husks to celebrate the harvest.
