Now in its 30th year of operation, the Market continues to attract first class vendors selling a wide variety of fresh, locally grown vegetables, fruits, berries, flowers, bedding plants, herbs, homemade fresh breads, cakes, pies, jams, eggs, meats, handmade soaps, pottery, handspun wool and much more.
The Saturday market is located at Municipal parking lot D, at the intersection of 5th and Lee Streets. It will continue through Thanksgiving. Hours are 7 a.m. until 12 noon, rain or shine.

October 1: Woodville
Annual Festival
All friends of the town of Woodville are invited to attend the 13th annual town picnic on Saturday, October 1 from 2:30 p.m. until dark. As in recent years, the event will be held at the Blue Ridge Overlook midway up Red Oak Mountain road. Follow signs from downtown. Hamburgers, hotdogs, lemonade & ice tea are provided. Folks are asked to bring their favorite side dish to share. Live bluegrass music will be provided by the sensational traveling group “Fast Freddie & The Cliffhangers.” The event will include a special tribute to neighbors Lucy and Bill Oliver who are departing the community for new horizons.
