Schools pass: Adequate Yearly

Progress achieved at both Rappahannock Public Schools

Both schools and the RCPS Made Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) in Accordance with No Child Left Behind (NCLB): Executive Director of Human Resources and Instruction Raye Tupper reported to the School Board on Sept. 13 that both schools and the division made AYP by meeting at least 29 of the 35 federal benchmarks. School “Report Cards” for our schools and all schools in Virginia contain AYP data and can be accessed on the State website: http://www.pen.kl2.va.us/
