This volunteer ouMiunity is a mutually benef^Ql relationship that serves both adults and youth of Rappahannock through the building of a caring, trusting, multi-generational relationship. In this day when single parenting and two income earning adults in a household is rising, families look toward other caring adults to provide care and attention after school. One afternoon of mentoring with a trained Starfish Mentor has proven to bring smiles, success and eiyoyment to the lives of the youth served since 1999.
