about picking me some berries this year with my children. I suggest you do the same if you can. I won’t bother you with that “healthy exercise” mess I know we’ve all heard that before but for some simple inexpensive family fun and time that neither you nor your children will ever trade for anything you just can’t beat berry picking.
You all know how I feel about the fast pace of life these days and spending a day or
being a child or maybe pretending I’m back in the days of my grandfather’s childhood either way I usually come way with a much more happy and contented feeling ana yeah a few scratches and snags.
Look at it this way. Which stray would you rather tell at Thanksgiving, how you and the kids trampled through the brush all day and picked berries and had a wonderful day or how you fought traffic and then pushed your way through the grocery store and then used your Visa to pay for that 8 oz. jar of jelly?
Nothing good ever comes easy and a few scratches and bug bites are worth the effort and hey you’d probably get that from a day at the park or in the yard, trust me. afternoon takes
