Christmas Banquet, Snow Tubing, Picnic at Mt. Run Lake(with the older singles group, etc). This Saturday, July 15, they are planning to meet at Friendly’s in Fredricksburg, and then go for a game of bowling. This outreach ministry came together because “singles” seem to be forgotten about. Most singles can’t find a friend to just hang out with who can share the same common interests. We have a good blend; such as separated, divorcees, widowed, and those who have never married. We are non-denominational, but centered around Christ. We have chosen Romans 15:5 to represent our cause. It reads: “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus.” Since this is an outreach ministry, we invite anyone to attend who is single, between the ages of 30 -50: Next month, we are planning to attend the Mercy Me concert. Revival Services
The Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church in Washington will hold a revival from July 16-21 with Evangelist Jerry Whiteheart from Walkertown, N. C., at 7:30 p.m. Pastor John Burke invites all to attend. Monday night is preachers night. There will be special singing nightly and a nursery is provided.
Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill is celebrating its 141st church anniversary. Church revivals will run from July 12-14 starting at 7:30 p.m. each night.
