Successful candidate must possess the skills necessary to provide exceptional customer service to clients receiving mental health and substance abuse treatment and answering a multi-line telephone. Duties include management of client service tickets, scheduling MD appointments, collection of fees, daily cash reconciliation, sort and distribute mail, and order office supplies. Performs data entry of service related activities and occasional word processing using Windows applications. Ideal candidate will have experience in medical office environment and the ability to multi-task. Hours are 8:30 to 5:00. Monday through Friday with the ability to provide occasional evening coverage until 8:00p.m. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years experience as a front line receptionist. Tax assessment position available in the Office of the Commissioner of the Revenue. Duties include independently assesses business license, business tangible personal property, and local excise taxes. Ensures that assigned business tax accounts are properly maintained and accurately assessed in compliance with Virginia State Code and County Ordinances. Serves taxpayers by providing informative and timely assistance in the preparation of any return to be filed with the Commissioner of the Revenue. Researches and analyzes resources for discovery purposes and to ensure proper classification. Conducts field visits, as needed. Requires the ability to administer programs fairly, equitably and uniformly by applying local, state, case law and rulings. Works with office management1, as collections, bankruptcy, appeals and litigation issues dictate. Must have flexibility to respond to changing conditions. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and four years of directly related experience, preferably in business, management, finance, or related field: experience with automated systems and customer service, preferably in taxation or finance. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
