I would like to congratulate the sheriff’s office and all law enforcement personnel who worked successfully to apprehend the murder suspect on Sunday night. Our community has been shaken from the murder and manhunt. We can put our fears to rest and move on. It was scary for some of us to know that this man was so close to us.
Our sheriff’s department is a hard working group of people who put their lives on the line everyday for our protection. They are doing a tremendous job keeping our county a safe place for everyone to live in.
Heading out west
Let’s remember to keep Ellen Mustoe and her team in our thoughts for their safety. They will be leaving on Thursday, July 13 for Eagle Butte, South Dakota. They will be conducting a Vacation Bible School plus a Men’s and Women’s ministry for the Lakota Indians of the Cheyenne Tribe of the Sioux Indians. They will return on Friday, July 21. What a thrill this will be for them. Good Luck team! Ellen, we will be looking forward to you sharing your memories with us on your return.
Birthday wishes go out to Bobby Brown of Washington who will be celebrating his day on Saturday, July 15. Take the day off from work and enjoy the day with fun!
