team consists of girls ages 11-12 from Culpeper County and Rappahannock County. Their practices are split up between Sperryville and Culpeper, and they practice everyday.
The team is coached by the tandem of Larry Settle, Stefani'e Shaw and Carl Payne and their combined experience coaching adds up to about 40 years of softball coaching experience, and it shows with these girls.
The girls looked sharp fielding pop-flies and ground balls and threw the balls around wilh the zip and pop of a team ready to make a run for the state championship.
The team will be leaving Thursday morning to travel to St.
