the risks of
equine
enterprises
Virginia Cooperative Extension has partnered with USDA Risk Management Agency and Valley Farm Credit to offer this exciting, educational program on Managing the Risks of Equine Enterprises on Friday September 1,2006. This program will provide a wealth of information for both existing equine enterprise owners and those considering entering the business. Topics covered include liability law and insurance, bam safety, business planning, agricultural stewardship, and farm labor and taxation - issues pivotal to the success and sustainability of equine operations!
This conference will be held at Celebration Hall at the North Warren Volunteer Fire & Rescue in scenic Front Royal, Virginia from 8:00 am to 4:00pm. Celebration Hall has plenty of free, onsite parking and is easily accessible from I81 and 1-66 in Northwest Virginia. Registration for this event is required, and includes attendees’ conference proceedings, lunch and refreshments. Early registration, received by August 18th, to the Warren County VCE Office is $15; late registration is $20.
