Commonwealth’s Attorney Peter Luke called Marvin’s wife to the stand who testified that the Nissan truck had previously failed Virginia inspections. She also testified that the truck had expired insurance and tags.

Judge Parker denied bail for the second time citing lack of supervision and no reliable transportation. ' Marvin had previously had his $10,000 bond revoked by Judge Jeffery Parker during a May 8th hearing.

Marvin’s employer, a Warrenton business owner, had originally agreed to pay the bail. After hearing testimony from the alleged victims, he decided against it.

Marvin will now remain incarcerated until his trial scheduled for August 22.
