Sunday, July 16 at 11 a.m. morning service with Pastor Donald E. Simpkins, lunch will be served at 1 p.m. in the dinning hall at for the 3:30 p.m. service with Rev. Johnnie L. Abram choir and congregation from Harvest Assembly Baptist Church, Alexandria, Va.

Revival Services will be held at Hopewell Baptist Church in Sperryville starting on Monday, July 17 through Friday, July 21, at 7:30 p.m. Reverend Donald Reid of Middleburg, VA will be the Evangelist for the week. He is the Pastor of Mt. Paran Baptist Church, Linden, VA. Homecoming will be held Sunday, July 23, at 11 a.m. with Reverend Anna Allsberry, Associate Pastor of Hopewell bringing the morning message. Reverend Donald Reid will be the guest preacher for the 3 p.m. service. He will be accompanied by his Choir and congregation. Lunch will be served following the morning worship. Everyone is welcome.

Conference

Registration is now open for the “Women in Worship” Conference 2006 to be held in Fredericksburg September 29th and 30th, Holiday Inn Select. The conference begins on Friday evening with special guest gospel recording artist Luther Barnes and the Sunset Jubiliaries. Saturday features a prayer breakfast, workshops, morning message by Minister Miranda Williams, Washington, D.C., two meals and evening worship with keynote speaker, Dr. Suzan Johnson-Cook, President, Hampton Ministers’ Conference and author of the best selling book, “Too Blessed to be Stressed”. Reduced registration rate for 10 persons or per person on or before August 18th. The Conference is sponsored by the Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Association, Inc. Women’s Auxiliary. Space is limited. Shawl Ministry

Do you like to knit or crochet? Would you like to learn? Come and be a part of the Prayer Shawl Ministry, a group which lovingly creates shawls for those in their community that may be grieving, dealing with illness, or suffering from a loss, and also for those experiencing a joy such as a wedding or new baby.
