by a Rappahannock jury of driving while intoxicated, his third DUI offense in five years. Kelly was also found guilty of driving on a suspended license, eluding police, and refusing to take a Breathalyzer test.
The jury recommended that Kelly pay up to $2000 in fines and spend 5 years in prison.
Kelly is also scheduled for a court hearing on January 4th, 2007. He is charged with driving under the influence a fourth or fifth time within ten years. Air machine robbed
A coin operated air machine was smashed and all of the change was stolen from the Quick Mart along U. S. 211 according to a report to the Rappahannock Sheriff’s Office on November 26th. The machine appeared to have been opened with a hammer and a crowbar. The case is under investigation.
Motorcycle wreck
Dale Daniel Kieser of Fredricksburg, Va. wrecked his 1998 Suzuki motorcycle after striking a guardrail coming off of the mountain on U. S. 211 East on November 26, A female passenger was uninjured. Kieser was transported to Fauquier County Hospital with minor injuries.
Cat-sitter arrested
Virginia Beall, 44, was arrested after RCSO officials responded to her 911 call on November 26th. Beall had called complaining that her boyfriend kept coming around the house where she was taking care of some cats.
