responded to the scene, they discovered that Beall had a warrant on her in Nelson County for filing a false report. She was arrested and taken to the Rappahannock County Jail. Wreck mystery solved
Susan Pooton reported on November 21 that someone had run off of Nethers Road near her house crashing through a fence and tearing down some trees. She said that she had not spotted the vehicle. State Trooper Don Corbin located the vehicle, a Ford Explorer, in a bam area on Trotter lane.
Further investigation revealed that two juveniles had been involved in the accident and neither had drivers licenses. Corbin obtained a written confession from the juveniles and filed a juvenile petition with commonwealth attorney Peter Luke.
Domestic violence
Christopher A. Bowen, 46, was arrested and charged with simple assault after a neighbor called and said that Bowen had pushed her and her children during a visit to his house on November 22.
Bowen’s wife had left for work prior to the event. Deputy Tony Leake and Lieutenant Roger Jenkins made the arrest, after a warrant was obtained.
Assault
William Edward Settle III was arrested for assaulting his wife on November 20 after a neighbor reported a case of domestic violence. Sergeant Mark Currence and Deputy Angela Deavers reported to the scene.
After investigating the claim, they obtained a warrant for Settle’s arrest. Settle is currently out on bond.
