and heck some folks were there at four o'clock even, waiting for the doors to open and the lids to come off! I tell ya friends, it really makes me proud to call this mountain home when I see us all come together like that.
A big thank you is due to Stephanie Crawford, Tabitha Swain, and Nicole Ubben for planning and hosting the event and to Adam Moore, Brandon Phillips, Samantha Williams, and Maybelle Gilkey for helping to do all of the work behind the scenes that pulled everything together. Also thank you to Mr. Gibson of Gibson’s Water & Sewer for his generous donation and likewise to Chester Gap Grocery, Carolyn & Thomas Leake, Dude Swain, Amissville Nursery and Amanda Crawford for all of your time, efforts, and many generous donations in support of this dinner. And most of all, thank you to each and everyone of you folks who came out and braved to cold for a chance to make a difference and show how much you care, you are the real reason it was such a huge success!
Oh, one last thing if any of you would like to purchase any of those wonderful centerpieces that were donated by the Amissville Nursery please contact Tabitha Swain at 6353262 and she’ll be happy to arrange for you to receive one in exchange for a $10.00 donation - which goes to benefit Debbie as well.
