The Rappahannock Historical Society Board of Directors wishes to pay trib‘ute to one of its most loyal, dedicated, and enthusiastic supporters. In truth, there are really no words to express the debt of gratitude that the Historical Society and the Rappahannock County community owe to Donna Fisher, who passed away on November 21, 2006.
Donna worked tirelessly to fulfill the missions and goals of the Society and served as its face for a number of years. But most important, her energy and spirit enabled the Society to endure during difficult times.
lb say she had a passion for history, Rappahannock History, is to understate the obvious by many orders of magnitude. That passion, plus her enthusiasm and devotion, has kept our sails constantly inflated at gale force during this period.
