We will hold a solstice celebration at RappFLOWs monthly meeting. As winter begins officially on this day, we will meet at RappFLOW headquarters in Sperryville, next to the Old Schoolhouse, beside the Thornton river. Weather permitting, we will light a bonfire at the nverside to hail the new season. Bring food to share, if you wish. All welcome. Questions? Call Beverly at 937-4744.
Essay Contest
The United Daughters of the Confederacy, Culpeper Chapter #73 cordially invite all Rappahannock County Students, grades 1-12, to participate in an annual essay contest. We encourage any public, private or home schooled student to apply his or her history knowledge! Cash prizes will be awarded and winners will be honored at a special ceremony. Essay instructions and rules may be obtained at the Rappahannock County Library, the Rappahannock County Elementary School, or Rappahannock Countyffigh School.
