The business aroused opposition from eight neighbors that spoke at the October meeting of the County Planning Commission. They said the land use is inappropriate for the agricultural and residential area, and raised concerns about early-morning noise from trucks and traffic as well as wear and tear on Seven Ponds Road. The commission decided at that meeting to recommend that the Board of Supervisors not approve the special exception permit.
The board will have the final say on the matter at 7 p.m. Monday at the County Courthouse.
