Dave Naser likes the numbers that his Rappahannock County High School Scholastic Bowl team put up Monday night.
“We averaged close to 200 points per match,” said Naser, who is in seventh season as head coach. “If we do that consistently, we’re going to win a lot of matches.”
That 200-point mark gave the Panthers their first two victories of the 2006-07 Group A Bull Run District season.
Rappahannock defeated Strasburg, 200-110, and Manassas Park, 200-120.
The Panthers’ only loss of the night came at the hands, er, brains of George Mason, the two-time, state runnerup, 275-185.
