A large, outdoor music festival may be coming to Rappahannock County in May.
But first, the Warrenton-based company proposing the event needs to convince county officials and residents that it’s a good idea.
If approved, the “Celebrate Rappahannock” festival would likely draw thousands of concert goers to the Blue Rock Inn property, located on U.S. 211 across from Rappahannock County High School, and raise thousands of dollars for local organizations.
Event-management company Finley Productions will plead their^ case for a special-exception permit Wednesday before the County Planning Commission.
