The JV Panthers (0-4) lost to Page County and Luray on Dec. 7 and 9, respectively. Connor Settle led the team in scoring with 16 points against Page County.
Junior Panthers
A young Junior Panther squad (0-4) is struggling so far this season, but coach Rich Hogan said the team is playing hard and improving.
Greg Czekaj and Henry Miller are the team’s captains and leading scorers. Hogan said other standouts include Tyler Zuccotti, Josh Frye and John Letzen.
Of the 16 players on the team, only two are eighth-1 graders. Hogan said most other teams are laden with eighthgraders and play few to no sixth-graders.
