According to the Department, it is very important to measure it before you use any of the wood so the measurements are absolutely accurate. VDACS offers these additional tips:
• Arrange the timing so you or your representative can be present when the firewood is delivered.
• Keep the delivery ticket or sales invoice as proof of purchase.
