Woodville Baptist Church invites . everyone to its annual church Christmas program and dinner on Sunday, December 17 at 6 p.m. This year the youth or Woodville Baptist will present the drama “Burnt Cookies.” Come find out the real reason for the season, as directed by our pastor’s wife, Margaret Larrimore. The annual church Christmas Dinner will follow in the fellowship hall. And Santa Claus will be making a visit to delight children of aD ages! We invite everyone to come and bring your favorite dish as well to share, or just come and enjoy the food and fine folks of Woodville Church.
Woodville Baptist Church will hold its annual Christmas service on Sunday, December 24 at 11 a. m. There wifi be Christmas music and singing, and a special message from our pastor, Paul Larrimore. This wifi be a special and very solemn event. Everyone without a permanent church home is invited to come and participate and be blessed. Then on Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24 at 6 p,m., WoodviDe Baptist Church wiD have an informal Candlelight Christmas Eve Service with Communion. This wiD be a time of carols, sharing our favorite Christmas poems or readings, and gathering together for Communion. You are invited to attend,especially if you have never been to this type of Christmas Eve Service before,
First night of Hannukah
Havura Ktana - a friendship circle of Jews and their friends who are exploring and strengthening their relationship to Judaism - is celebrating the first night of Hannukah early evening on Friday, December 15 at the home of Rabbi Carla Theodore. AD are welcome to take part in a vegetarian/dairy pot luck meal.
We will gather at 4 p. m. The Hannukah and Shabbat candles wDl be lit at 4:20. After sharing Hannukah stories, and learning a , Hebrew song, we wiD eat at 5:30.
