Rappahannock County Department of Social Services is continuing its annual tradition of collecting food and monetary donations to assist families in need during the holiday season.

As we do every year, we are asking for your help in making this donation drive a success. Please share your holiday spirit and help us give back to our communities.

Beverly Leathers, Director of Social Services praises Rappahannock County Community for, “always responding generously to ensure that our less fortunate , citizens are remembered and well taken care of during this festive time of year.”

“Often people donate to causes and never truly know how the money was used or if it even had a direct impact.” Mrs.. Leathers remarked. “When you donate here you can feel assured that you have given direct assistance to brighten the holidays for someone in your community.”

All donations are used to aid families in need, elderly citizens and the foster children of our county in having a Merry Meny Christmas!

Rappahannock County DSS staff anticipates a huge outpouring from the kind open hearted members of the Rappahannock community.
