Mills said that he did not want the salary to be too high, in ordet to keep people from getting on the board looking for a part time job.
However, School Board member Rosa Crocker said that she wanted to make sure that people could feel comfortable financially if they considered the job. “We don’t want people to not take the job because they cant afford it,” she added.
